The GFWC Paskack Junior Woman's Club is a group of dynamic women who donate their time and talents to serve the needs of the Pascack Valley communities through philanthropic and service efforts.

What's in a Name?

Paskack is not a misspelling. We choose to use the original Native American spelling to acknowledge our long history as a club that has been doing good in the community for over 80 years. Learn more about our history on the About Us page.

School Supplies Drive to Help Kids in Need a Success!​
The Paskack Junior Woman's Club would like to express our deepest gratitude to the community for the generous school supplies donations we received to benefit children, ages 5-18, who are in foster care. In all we were able to fill 16 new backpacks with school supplies. The backpacks will be presented to the non-profit organization CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) who will ensure they will be delivered to children in foster care in time for the 2021/2022 school year. Click here to learn more.

Outdoor Yoga Charity Fundraiser

The Paskack Juniors and Fitness with Friends hosted a gentle yoga class for all levels on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Participants enjoyed a safe, healthy and happy experience together. We look forward to holding future yoga for charity fundraisers in the future. 

Bunny Meet & Greet Drive-thru Fundraiser Was a Success!
Bunny greeted families outside the River Vale Community Center. Children stepped out of their cars for photographs or chose to wave and talk to Bunny from their car. 
All children received a special bag of treats from the Bunny! Proceeds benefit local charities. 

Egg My Yard Event Raises Funds for Local Charities!​
Community members received candy and toy filled eggs from our “bunnies” who delivered the goodies right to their homes! Proceeds from Egg My Yard benefit local charities.

​Over 3,000 Valentines Delivered to Local Seniors, First Responders, Hospitals and More!

The GFWC Paskack Junior Woman's Club held a “Share the Love” Valentine’s Day Card Drive in January and February 2021. The Juniors partnered with the Pascack Valley libraries and placed collection boxes at each location. Community members, children, schools and scout groups from the surrounding area created valentine cards for seniors, veterans, first responders, hospitals and essential workers. In all, over 3,000 cards were collected and delivered! 

Virtual Visits with Santa!
With the help of the Juniors, Santa mastered Zoom and was able to speak with children all over the Pascack Valley area. During the 10 minute video calls children were able to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas and heard him read a holiday story. The virtual event raised $380 for local charities.

The winner of the 2020 Clark Griswold Award is...YESLER WAY, HILLSDALE! A truly brilliant display of lights.

There were so many amazing homes to choose from and we are grateful to all the contestants for their participation. Through the generosity of the contestants $380 was raised for local charities!

Holiday House Hop
The Holiday House Hop was a wonderful success! Families from all over the Pascack Valley area enjoyed seeing beautifully decorated homes, had fun at our House Hop Stops where they received little goodies for the kids and dropped off their letter to Santa. Nearly 60 letters to Santa were received and each one will be answered by St. Nick himself! They even got to meet Santa, a holiday T-Rex, characters from Frozen and Elf! It was truly a magical experience. Over $450 was raised for local charities and numerous bags of nonperishable food goods were collected for the Tri-Boro Food Pantry. 

Presidents' Day Bumper Bowling Raised over $500 for Local Charities!
The Paskack Junior Woman’s Club hosted our Annual Presidents’ Day Bumper Bowling fundraiser on Monday, February 17. Over $500 dollars was raised for local charities!

Super Chili Bowl Cook-off Winner Announced!
The Juniors in partnership with the Park Ridge Elks,
hosted our first annual Super Chili Bowl Cook-off Contest on Saturday, January 25th. Guests enjoyed delicious chili and live music by Matt Colligan.

Congratulations to our winners Claudia and Gary Haughn!Their winning chili was determined by popular vote and it garnered them a cash prize. Proceeds from the event benefited local charities. To see the local

Youth Creative Writing Contest Winners Announced!
Congratulations to this year's winners of the Paskack Junior Women's Club  Youth Creative Writing Contest! Students ages 11-18 in the Pascack Valley area were invited to write a poem based on this year’s theme: post, tweet, snap.  One hundred fifty poems were submitted!  Our winners will be recognized at an award ceremony during April, which is National Poetry month.  A round of applause is needed for all applicants because we were very impressed by the submissions! The first-place winner’s poem will be sent for judging in the New Jersey State Woman’s Clubs Youth Creative Writing Contest.  First-place state winners in each category will be sent for judging in the GFWC National Contest by the State Chairman.  Past regional winners have gone on to win at the state and national levels! Breakfast with Santa Raises Hundreds of Dollars for Local Charities!

The GFWC Paskack Juniors Women's Club, in conjunction with the Park Ridge Elks, is hosted the annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 14.  Guests will enjoyed a hot breakfast, tricky tray raffle with amazing prizes, photos with Santa, games and more. The event raised hundreds of dollars for local charities.

Holiday Mini Photo Sessions Raises Hundreds of Dollars for Charity!
The Juniors' Holiday Mini Photo Sessions to Benefit Charity that took place on Saturday, November 9th raised hundreds of dollars! These mini photo sessions took place at The Mansion in Park Ridge.

Monster Mash Halloween Charity Bash Raises over $780!
Our annual Monster Mash Halloween Charity Bash that took place on Sunday, Oct 20 at the River Vale Community Center was a huge success. Participants enjoyed a costume contest, indoor trunk or treat, games, music and tasty treats. Over $780 was raised for local charities!

Tag Sale Raises over $300 for Local Charities!

Our annual Tag Sale to benefit local charities raised over $300! Thank you to everyone who donated items, volunteered and/or came out to shop!
Items featured included: clothing, shoes, baby gear, books, toys, games, sports equipment, holiday items, decor, kitchen items, and more! We hope to see you at our next Tag Sale.

Mother's Day Nature Craft for Kids Was a Great Success!
Local children created kid-safe, self-decorated decoupaged flower planters using recycled containers. Special thanks to our 8th grade student volunteers!

Breakfast with Bunny Raises over $3,200 for Local Charities!
The GFWC Paskack Junior Woman's Club, with the help of the Park Ridge Elks, hosted their annual Breakfast with Bunny charity event on Saturday, April 13.  The event raised over $3,200 dollars for local charities!  Guests enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast, music, crafts and pictures with Bunny! The Juniors were pleased to present an impressive tricky tray raffle with donations from local businesses totaling nearly $4,000 worth in prizes!
